The moors, the hills and dales, the rolling patchwork quilt of winding roads and twisty paths and stiles over fences that lead me to secret places of the past. Where 17th century merry go rounds play their magic tunes. The music drifts from hill to hill and falls upon the ears of those who cannot see the horses. The proud steeds in their best bib and tucker - painted and shining in every details of antiquity. The organ grinder - grinding out his happy tunes with his monkey on his shoulder. So far away from this time and place - a small crack into the past. The huge steam tractors puffing and huffing along side handsome work horses - both with very different beauty and dignity. The miniture steam tractors - so fascinating to small eyes used to electricity and toys with batteries. The sheep dogs and the sheep -- the squires and barons. All at an enchanting day at the English country fair.
The merry-go-round
up and down
Round and round,
the music
and my great steed
carry me to magic lands
far and away.
Camelot perhaps.
Gallant King Arthur
Sweeping me away to real places
with no reality.
Hold light the reign
My trusted friend clearly knows the way
and will stop where I
must dismount
and rest for awhile -
where life's purpose
awaits me in abundance ...
The merry-go-round
up and down
round and round ...
remember???

The merry merry-go-round
Stay on!!
Why would you ever
want off??
Always moving forward
to back where you
came from?
What could be better?!
Feeling Stuck?
